Intraoral Camera

intraoral dental cameraThe intraoral camera is a state-of-the-art device that Dr. Caves uses to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning. This advanced piece of equipment is about the size of a pen with a tiny, sophisticated camera that can capture 360-degree images of your teeth and gums.

Using the intraoral camera, Dr. Caves can zoom in on small areas of decay, hairline cracks, chips, and worn metal fillings with extreme precision. Full-color, digital images are taken and sent to a computer screen so the dentist and patient can clearly see where the problems are and discuss treatment options.

We believe that our patients should be involved in their treatment planning. The intraoral camera, along with our other sophisticated technology, allows us to communicate more effectively with our patients and educate them on their health and treatment options.
